  • What can't a previous employer disclose to a new employer?

Specifically in regards to rule violations and circumstances surrounding termination of employment. Is there any additional information that they may disclose if you were a engineer vs conductor or brakeman?

First, are you an engineer? If you are, the terminating party has the right (obligation) to disclose your situation to the hiring party if you were FRA decertified. Second, word travels fast between companies, don't be alarmed if your situation is found out by a potential employer, it would have to be "through the grape vine" though. Third, be honest with your potential future employers, explain the situation, it does go a long way, plus, if they find out later that you lied to them, they can shitcan you without further obligation! If you need additional info on FRA specifics, PM me, I can help you out.
