Just started reading the Steve Jobs book on my Kindle Fire. I'm about halfway through it and it is a good read. You don't have to be a tech minded person to appreciate this book.

There is something I want to get off my chest. It's about that summer, when you went away to community college. I got an offer to do Playgirl Magazine, and I did it. I did a full spread for Playgirl Magazine. I mean spread man, I pulled my butt apart and stuff. I was totally nude. it was weird, I... I mean you probably didn't hear about it because I went under the name of Mike Honcho. But I just wanted you to know that. If you can hear me, if it got into your brain somehow. That I spread my buttcheeks as Mike Honcho.

Read it through....good book...have a deeper appreciation for Apple now. Am working on Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert Pirsig. A great book of common philosophy.....and I am a junior philosopher at heart.

      Jonny,

Is that a lendable Nookbook? I would be interested in borrowing it at a later date.

No...it's not and you aren't the first that wanted to borrow it! I don't presently have any lendables on mine...which you can tell when you check your nook friends list....there won't be a darned thing under my name!

What is a lendable? A public domain type book that you can send from user to user?

No, not public domain...but the publisher allows a title to be lendable. When you lend it, your copy is disabled and the person you are lending to gets a copy that self destructs in couple weeks. After the lend period your copy comes back to life, and you can read some more or relend.

Cool. Like a hard copy book.

Exactly, but for some reason publishers are ambivalent about it. They can't control lending of hard copy so they can't monetize it. They are scrambling for a way to monetize elending though....and we won't let them!
