  • New website being brought online.

To avoid problems like we had over the weekend, I have installed a completely new forum system and website frontend.

I tried to convert the old forum and posts over to this forum, but it caused too many errors. Please re-register. I will put the old forum back up in read-only format so as to have an archive of all past discussions.

I do believe he just did. Go back into your profile now and redo it, you now have the browse link back. If you have to go back to the ol yard limits snag your avatar and bring here.

I still have most of the avatars. I'll be uploading them as we go.

My those avatars are nice and large now. And such a large and wonderful selection. More than one? Hmm...

I decided to get rid of the Joomla/SMF combo - the software that ran the homepage and forums respectively. They worked nicely, but I don't want to have to constantly upgrade them just to fight of hack attempts.

I have decided to go with a commercial software solution - vbulletin forum and portal. $160 for the package, but it is the best forum package out there - free or commercial.

I am still feeling my way around it and will get features added as we go.
