question about bidding

I work on a former N&W line... if I bid on a job on the Southern side would I lose my rights on the N&W? I ask because there is a job on the southern that is much closer to home for me than where I work now.

Should depend on whether your seniority roster protects that Southern job, or is protected by a different roster. Your LC could clarify.

I work in MOW, not train service.

That might make some difference but still your local chairman or even a fellow worker would be able to tell you definitively.

and if you don't work in Train Service, then please specify!!!! makes it much easier to get you answers! We just presume your T&E
