Default Stopping and Ful service

Seems we are now going to have to apply a full service brake EVERY time we stop on the main line.....example....pull up to a siding switch.....conductor gets off to line switch back on in about 2min tops and before you move you have to apply a full service then release then pull in and do it again......so it's one step closer to rule booking us to a complete stand still......now I myself always puts a full on when I get stopped in a siding or waiting for some one but this is really getting out of hand.....I don't know if it's system wide or local but what can they think of next.....I am scared to even think of that......and how will this REALLY slow a local down stopping and letting people off to switch a place and if it's on the main line evertime you stop while switching you will have to apply a full service.....hurry up retirement......

It's an Alabama Division General RFE thing, bama. Spell that Bostick, Div RFE. Just got burned for the same thing. It'll go away, when he goes away, maybe, sooner than later.

LMAO, for all us snow hoggers... can you boys just wait for the recharge now?

I always draw down when I stop at a board or if I leave a cut on the main. That is always the way I was taught and have done it. But not every time I stop.
In the heat that is just fine, won't be bad....

Now imagine a temp of 5 degree, a foot of blowing snow, a BP leak of a couple pounds and 3 units and 60 cars.
Have fun with that one!

Honestly, I believe the next rule will be "if you apply air, bring your train to a complete stop, conductor will apply 10% brake and you will reset your air and remove 10% brake and proceed... Now, add in all the step protection..what a joy.

First, I'm not being a smartass. Second, without my book handy, I figured that I would ask. IF it is in the book, we have no repercusion against the TM that writes us up if we don't comply. I do not work for them but, we follow their rules so maybe we should get our stuff straight before we get pissed about being written up, see what I mean?

Central Division thing too. Few guys have gotten caution letters.

Remember guys it's their railroad. Whatever they want we should give it to them. Cold weather takes forever to recharge the brakes. Don't forget that fuel conservation rule; leave it idle instead of advancing it to notch 1 and don't forget-

It pays great after eight
