KCS in East St. Louis

I was thinking about applying for a conductors position in East St. Louis with KCS. I currently work for NS St. Louis Terminal and the outlook is grim here unless you have plenty of senority. I was wondering if KCS has plenty of work here in St. Louis and if there is an overloaded extraboard or a board where everyone is working pretty good halves. Oh, is the extraboard guaranteed as well?

The Gateway Western RR/KCS is not doing so well right now. You would be better off going to the TRRA or A&S

trra all the way. the pay better than us and they have alot of jobs. lots of former ns guys over there.
