woooooooody!!!

when i went through LETP in KC i spent most of the nights at the Ameristar poker room stacking cheese... soft, soft 1/2... then the play got better at 5/10 so i went back to 1/2nl for the juice... easily stacked an average of a red rack a night...

you play online much?... full tilt just "upgraded" their software now my fulltiltshortcut programs aren't working right now... you prefer cash or tourney?

I play a pretty even mix of cash and tourney. In fact, since I have been furloughed, poker has been helping to pay the bills, lol. I know it isn't the safest way to do things, but I am pretty successful at it. I run hot and cold over which I prefer to play. I play at Harrah's in Stl quite a bit on the 1/2 tables. I think there are more fish per capita there than anywhere in the world!

Online, Im a pokerstars guy. I've played full tilt a few times, but just didn't like it. I don't know about full tilt, but on pokerstars you can set up private cash tables. We should get some guys together and do that one evening.

About Vegas, Im not opposed to going, but I will hopefully be in Louisiana swinging a spike maul until I get called back to train service in Stl.

What kind of buy in do you have for those 40-50 person tourneys? It isn't beyond me to drive to Central, IL for a good game. I have a few buddies that would probably tag along as well if the money is right.

Ameristar in Stl used to be the place where all the donks went to play, but now it is just a bunch of rounders and pros that you just sit around and trade chips with. It gets pretty boring there nowdays. But, they do have one of the best 2/5 rooms I have seen.

yeah i used to play PS too and still have a bit of cash there... generally i 6 table the full ring games at 'tilt now... i have a rakeback deal there and get 27% of my rake paid back which adds up!

anymore, i'd rather play online... i can play at 6am when i get up, cofee in hand, kicked back in the recliner, smoke free and no stinky-assed fat guy sitting next to me! LOL

i'm getting ready to go out, so maybe later i'll post a pic and maybe a graph or two...

won 4.5 buy-ins yesterday after stacking off twice with AA vs. a flopped set... go figure...

That happens a lot. Sometimes, making the best move just isn't enough, lol. On PS, the nuts is KJ. If you have AA and get all in vs KJ, you are just plain screwed! For some reason PS rewards bad play.

Im still a bigger fan on live play. I enjoy the psychological warfare of liveplay over online play. Besides, like Barry Greenstein says, "Math is for idiots" LOL!
