Senate passes unconstitutional bill granting House voting rights to D.C.

The gun language included could also pose additional problems

Our govt could have made DC a 51st state and that would have added two seats in the senate, but instead they are bend the rules and over ride our constitution.

surely you jest..... Our seated govt woud never do such a thing. They only care about us. They only want whats right in the end. Our future may depend on us stretching some "old" laws and rules. It may mean that we must give up a few of our "little" rights, just the small ones, for the better of everyone else.

Remeber..... the ends always justify the means.

Yeah I threw up a little typing that too...... did i sound convincing?

D.C. Voting Measure Clears The Senate
Added Gun Language Might Pose a Problem

The Senate passed a bill yesterday that would give the District a voting seat in the House of Representatives, but lawmakers attached language strongly opposed by city leaders that strips most local gun-control laws.

Hopefully someone will challenge this stupid piece of legislation. D.C. is a federal city therefor they do not have rights to vote in representatives or senators. One can only hope that Nellis AFB and other military installations get the same treatment if this is upheld.

Default I believe this is the "change" the great O man counted on...

Any of this sound familliar?

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;

2. From spiritual faith to great courage;

3. From courage to liberty;

4. From liberty to abundance;

5. From abundance to complacency;

6. From complacency to apathy;

7. From apathy to dependence;

8. From dependence back into bondage"

I heard this along time ago, but never really thought too much on it, til recently. Never knew it origins... too lazy to look it up, but it appears to be of religious origins.
