So basically your idea is to repeal some of the restrictions that are in place now. Great. I'm not saying I agree, honestly I really don't have an opinion on it, but these are the answers I wanted to hear. If you have any more, shoot em'. What about criminal caught with certain guns or all guns really. Should the criminal be punished for the gun or the crime. For instance, would it really matter whether a guy robbed a store with a AK or a pistol? It would just be Robbery with a weapon. The penalty really wouldn't be any different.

Should there be a firearms permit so to speak? As in a concealed weapons permit? You have one, your free and clear to own whatever guns you want, but you must be permitted? This permit would be registered like a drivers license, so even fraudulent ones, when called in could be verified, is that a good idea or not?

Hmmmmmm. How do I approach this without seeming too radical? I do feel that someone should present ID to purchase a firearm from a dealer. Most private sales, at least those between lawful seller and purchaser, are handled just fine by the two parties involved. I don't buy or sell guns with shady people. It's too risky, and most of my fellow gun nuts are the same. A federal purchaser's card would be nothing but another database. My state issued photo ID is sufficient. I'm deeply distrustful of the government because I'm a rational person who can read.

A crime committed with malice, intent, and with a firearm should be punished harshly. The firearm involved should be of no consequence. You'd be amazed at how deadly .22 and .25 caliber handguns prove to be.

I forgot to mention one other thing regarding waving my scepter as King. Ammunition. Take a look at this link. It's positively shameful:

Snowflakes in Hell » Can’t Mail It Home

Bill Clinton used executive order to require the military to destroy surplus ammunition rather than to sell it to civilians. Why? To prevent us from stockpiling it. Why, though? To lessen our ability to resist, of course. Gang-bangers don't go to government auctions and buy 5.56 NATO by the pallet. Law-abiding people like me, however, would.

The price of ammunition is absolutely sky-rocketing. It's nearly tripled in a decade.

Nermal5 is on a distinguished road
Considering that McCain voted 100% with Bush in the last year plus, when he even voted at all. I forsee McCain being 4 more years of the same thing as Bush, maybe worse. It is pretty bad when even alot of republicans see McCain as a warmonger. McCain scares the living crap out of me cause he is for force, force, force, force. Going into any country should be a last resort. In the last 8 years we have lost more of our privacy then under any other president, and if you elect McCain it is only going to continue on that same path. I promise you a war with Russia is not what you want.

I find it pretty amusing that McCain was all for a clean run campaign, yet it is he who is releasing all the attack ads, which are 99% fabricated. www.factcheck.org I may not agree with everything Obama wants, but in my view he is a lot better of an option then what McCain offers.

I believe they both suck, and this is going to be an election of which of the worst is going to get elected. McCain and his war mongering scares the hell outa me, BUT I'm just as scared of Obama and his inability to make up his mind and say 1 thing and stick to it. He's against wire tapping yet votes for it, is just one example. He's for unions? Are you sure or is he going to be for them and vote against them. But then on this logic if he's against guns maybe he's actually a pro gunner in the closet.

Dude Obama was against ILLEGAL WIRE TAPPING! He didn't turn around and support illegal wire tapping, he supported FISA.
