Actually, what we're talking about is how uninformed and clueless so many Obama voters really were. It's also about how the media propagated this ignorance. Perhaps that's why you're trying to derail the thread. You try to do that alot when you can't deal with the actual content of the original post.

So Obama won his stupid campaign by using the slogan "Hope for CHANGE" and "Yes we can". If a more brain dead populace had ever been duped for anything similar it would be Nazi Germany. Obama is good at flapping his lips, that's for sure, good enough he can say "YES WE CAN" and get standing ovations. It's amazing this entire country could be swayed to be behind a 3 word slogan as simple as that. It's just too bad McDonalds already had "I'm lovin it" or that could have been his slogan. It would have won him the election too. The media is 1000% behind who is propped up to win. Nothing is democratic anymore, nobody wins debates, Ron Paul proved that. He won the debates and the media laughed at him. I mean, come on, smaller government? Dismantling the Fed? Abolishing the income tax? Closing all the wasteful departments such as FEMA and Department of Homeland Security? Returning the right of Habeus Corpus? Laugh laugh laugh! And big government supporters hooked up to the media teat of information all agree with the panel of judges for the candidates that is Sean Hannity and the rest of the media to say "he's a kook".

And because some of us who are realizing that there is no difference between Republican and Democrats we are all for the past 8 years? Damn... I could care less about Bush, and I'll be glad when he's out of office, but that doesn't make me support Obama just cause the POTUS's office is going to a Democrat. do you think I'd be mentioning the 8 years if they were years of prosperity & peace?...hell, if we can have that, I don't care if the president & all of congress comes from Mars.......how can you say there is no difference between two men & two parties that are night & day apart in their ideologies & plans concerning the government of this nation? I don't know for certain it will be better with Obama...I know for certain the bar ain't set very high when it comes to W's record....you guys need to realize that we are standing of the edge of the abyss...our only hope is the President Elect..trying to constantly bash him & dig up wild, unfounded bullshit on him is not conducive to building a new & better nation.
