You completely confuse two issues. One, the issue of a national ID. Two, the issue of requiring positive ID of voters. Why is it so hard for you to understand that there's no reason to confuse these? Hog, did you read this link? It's a purely opinion piece. Steele says one thing, and the author of this article says another. There's not much fact on either side. The only facts that are certain is that ACORN has been shown to be corrupt, and that corrupt organization now wishes to be deeply involved in the census. That bothers me. ACORN has an obvious political agenda. They are biased at the very least. They have no business doing something so important as effecting census-taking.

What if the NRA wanted to be involved in the census this way? I can fairly here the moans and wails from the left if McCain was sitting in the oval office with LaPierre and discussing how districts have changed and evolved.

I beg to digger one or two fleas usually mean they have laid eggs and will soon be an infestation on the dog, so therefore as a preventive measure the dogs does need to be dipped, I dunno about the shaved...
