Come on, P. Cushman, 'answer the question'. You remember that command, don't you?

I saw the tapes of the convention. Tell me how you "vote someone out" who doesn't even run?

You're either not too bright or just the typical Teamster loving antagonist who has no concept of truth. Does the county jail provide all the psychotic prescriptions Rex needs?

Sorry to disapoint you all, but the minute the dues come off someones check, it is UTU property.
They then send it to the different funds and locals.
when the TCRC takes over, why would the UTU let them have control of the money.
The problem is it is not our money persay anymore, it is the UTU's weather we like it or not.
I do believe that the local money should stay with the local, I really do, but that is not what the law says.
As for why the UTU is taking control of the funds, with the criminal activity in some locals, as well as the GC's offices, why would they just ignore the facts?
Why would certain locals NOT let the auditors see the books?
Figure it out guys.
When these individuals go to jail for fraud and theft, maybe people will realize what actually happened!!
how does a GC committe go from $200,000 in a few months?
Why are non members being paid upward of $20,000 a month?
Why are retired people getting paid $8-10,000 a month?
How do you work 7 days a week in an office that is open only 5?
Don't pick up the soap in the showers guys!!

I saw the tapes, too. You are technically correct. Secord withdrew his candidacy during the convention. Perhaps he saw the 'writing on the wall' looking at the delegates.

Besides, it seems that Paulie already had a nice appointment lined up for him. You can't blame Timmie for no longer feeling the need to be voted into anything, can you??

And someone has to pay Timmie's salary; very shortly it won't be CN's RT's in Canada.

Excuse me, this disgusted-with-the-UTU's-behavior and 'not too bright' (surely you can do better than that for an insult!) guy is going to look for my drool bucket; I know that it's around somewhere. Maybe under the rock that Paul Thompson and Timmie are also hiding under?

Then maybe we'll see all this innuendo proven at trial??

But the TCRC has NOT taken over and the UTU is still holding a lot of money from UTU Canada.

Audit or no, it's not legal to keep it if you find nothing wrong.

Now Cush is bragging that the International's finances are getting better... are you guys cooking something up?

It's like you are on the same page.

All I know is that my Local Representative has had to cover 5 statements outta his own pocket because of the lack of funds. I don't think he's going to continue to be there after this month.

Sad, really really sad.

Regardless of what we may think of the UTU/TCRC issue, the LC's are often the unsung heroes of the rail union movement. They certainly aren't in it for the money.

Not all of them, but then there is the perk of being able to book off on union business when the rest of us have to be available 7 days a week while he goes to the fishing camp or golfing. Many of these LCs just use that position to take care of themselves while they tell us it's for our benefit. Don't do me any favors, and don't piss on my leg and tell me its raining.
