I guess throttle misses the point. It is'nt about seniority, it's about making a living. I talk to many retired employees (one in particular who comes to all of our local union meetings) who said retiring was the "best thing that has happened to them in a long time!" I am not bitching for my own gain(i stand for regular jobs in the yard and road) but i do have friends on the xtra board who are starving. I guess i can't understand why someone would want to continue a career here when they can retire and enjoy the rest of their days doing what they want. That is the brass ring we all work for is'nt it? Anyway throttle, if riding up and down these rails till the good lord takes you off the roster is what you want, then i wish all the best my friend. As for me, 30 and i'm out.
