Conductor, sorry, you dont even have a clue.
I had 4 kids the first time I was cut off.
The second time I had 2 kids in college and 1 at home, the other has just hired on the railroad and got cut himself, he moved back in.
Then I had my railroad tore up and had to move, sell what I owned and move!
Start anew and work my way back up.
I had to repay many debts I owed, and worked hard. I had to even pick up and protect my seniority in order to stay working, while I had a family.

So, don't tell me anything about not understanding. You think when it happened to me I had money?

Don't think I don't have compassion, I do. But I learned long ago nothing on the railroad is certain and the current generation of railroaders have been spoiled!
