Ummm I think the housing crisis is what sparked this financial crisis. There was legislation that was blocked by democrats that was introduced by rebublicans that would have stopped the meltdown with freddie mac and fannie mae. Also democrats passed legislation forcing freddie mac and fannie mae to let low income get homes knowing they could not pay for them. Bush was a fuckup I did not like him. But to put it all on him is stupidity. Would the economy already have improved if Mccain was elected. Are Obamas policies helping or actually prolonging the economic crisis. Jimmy Carter was by far the worst president of the US.
